This is the beginning of a new day. God has given me this day to use as I will. I can waste it or use it for good. What I do today is very important because I am exchanging a day of my life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever. Leaving something in its place I have traded for it. I want it to be a gain, not loss-good, not evil. Success, not failure in order that I shall not forget the price I paid for it.

COACH JOE RYAN The High School Football Family has lost one of their own. Coach Joe Ryan, who served as Head Football Coach to the St. Joseph by-the-Sea Vikings, from 1990-2001, passed away at the age of 68. Coach Ryan will always be remembered for football, faith and family, the three things reflected in the way he lived his life every day. He was an honest man, full of integrity and strength, one who taught his players it was more important to be a gentlemen than it was to be an "All-Star". He taught them that hard work and perseverance has its rewards and there was no excuse in the world that would make it OK not to try as hard as you could at anything you attempted. He was filled with values and we hope that those values will grow in all of our future players.

Viking News: Sea Finished the season 3-2 in division play and 3-5 overall. Sea is seeded #2 in the CHSFL A playoffs earning them a 1st round bye. They Lost to Spellman in the semi finals to finish out the season.
